Privacy policy

This policy covers DigitalMenuKit: the panel a venue works in and the menus guests read. It says what we keep, why we keep it, who else sees it and how long it stays.

Who processes the data

The service is operated by Obzena LLC, Wyoming, USA. A venue owns the menu it publishes; we host and publish that content on the venue’s behalf.

Your account

We take your name and your email address when you open an account. Your password is stored hashed, and your session runs from a cookie in your browser. We do not sell this and we do not use it for advertising.

Payment

Payments are taken by Stripe. Your card number never reaches us; what we hold is the state of your subscription, its period and the customer id Stripe gives us. Your invoices are in Stripe’s customer portal.

Your menu content

The items, prices, descriptions and photographs are yours. When you publish, that content is served at a public address and can be read by search engines. When you unpublish, the address closes.

Guest statistics

We count how often your menu was opened. Our own statistics store no IP addresses or identities: hourly totals, the kind of device, the language chosen and where the link came from, kept for up to 90 days while the venue is active. Guest visits are also measured by Microsoft Clarity, as described under Cookies.

Where we use AI

For menu import and machine translation, the text, photograph or link you give us is sent to OpenAI and the result comes back to you. Outside those two features your menu content does not go to a model provider.

Cookies

Two of our own: the cookie that keeps you signed in and your interface language. Our website and published menus also use Microsoft Clarity, which sets its own cookies and shows us, as session recordings and heatmaps, how pages are used; text people type is masked. No advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data on your account, to correct it or to delete it. Deleting your account takes your menus offline and removes your data from our systems; payment records we are required to keep stay with Stripe. Write to the address below.
