Digital Menu Maker for Restaurants

By Tuğberk Can ÖzenPublished 5 November 20263 min read

TL;DRA digital menu maker is how a restaurant puts its menu on a phone without building a website and without taking orders in an app. DigitalMenuKit is that maker. You type the dishes, or you bring them in from a PDF, a photo, a spreadsheet or the page where the menu lives today. The same list becomes a QR code menu, a print-ready PDF and a page for each dish.

The service is operated by Obzena LLC, Wyoming, USA. Write to support@digitalmenukit.com if a page is wrong. The plan is $29 a month or $199 a year per venue, with no setup fee and no charge per scan. Preview on a phone is free. Publishing is paid. There is no free published menu and no trial.

What the maker produces

One editor holds the sections, dishes, prices and allergen marks. The QR code menu opens in the phone's browser, with no app. The printable menu is a PDF for A4, A5, US Letter, a table tent, a counter card or a window poster. Each dish has its own address, with the name and the price as text.

Publish a price change and the phone menu updates. The QR code does not change. Download a new PDF when the paper should match. Staff can mark a dish sold out with a six-digit PIN that cannot see prices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can switch on a schedule.

What it will not do

It will not take an order or a guest payment, run a point of sale, or build a marketing site. It will not sign in to Google. You paste the published address into the menu link yourself. The steps are in Google Business Profile menu link. This product does not fill Google's menu editor.

It will not promise a ranking, or that an assistant recommends the restaurant. Publishing makes a page a search engine can read. Indexing takes days to weeks. Translation is not automatic. You can publish from 62 content languages that you write or paste yourself. The menu opens in its own language. A guest picks another. The phone's language is not detected for them.

How a restaurant sets one up

Create an account and import what you already have, or start from a design. A PDF can be up to 20 MB. One import builds a draft of up to 150 items. Read every name and every price. The draft is not public until you publish it. Allergen marks are yours to set.

Open the menu on a phone before you pay. If it looks like your restaurant, publish. You can put it on a subdomain you already own. Hosting on our address is included if you do not. The wider setup is a digital menu for restaurants. The numbers are on pricing.

Who should buy it

Buy it if the phone, the paper and the Google link should stay in agreement, and you do not need online ordering. A restaurant that still hands out a PDF is the fit. If you need tickets in the kitchen, use a system built for that. Where another product is the better buy is spelled out for Popmenu, MENU TIGER and Menubly.

The menu maker page shows the designs. This page is the decision: $29 a month or $199 a year, $149 less than twelve months at the monthly price. Cancel from the panel. The menu stays up until the period you paid for ends. A sheet that also carries the code is a printable restaurant menu with a QR code.

Frequently asked questions

Is the digital menu maker free?

Building and previewing are free, and no card is needed. The public address, the QR code that stays put, and a PDF of your own menu are the paid plan.

Will this put my menu on Google by itself?

No. You paste the menu link. We do not log in to Google. A place in the results is not a promise.

Can I move a menu I already printed?

Yes. Import the PDF or a photo. You check the draft. Nothing is public until you publish.
